Walking Dead’s Dallas Roberts cast in new role in Road Dogs film
By Renee Hansen
Dallas Roberts is an actor known for his role as Milton Mamet during season 3 of The Walking Dead. He was a resident of Woodbury and a trusted ally of the Governer (David Morrissey). He conducted many experiments on the undead to discover if there were any memories after reanimation. His death was heartbreaking as he tried to go out the hero by attempting to kill the Governor. Deadline has reported that Roberts has been cast in a new movie, Road Dogs.
Vanessa Leigh directs the film from a script she co-wrote with Aaron W. Bennet. The script uses Bennett’s time as an improv comic and comedy club owner as source material. They will produce with Kris Black from Residue Remains Productions, with Hunter G. Williams of Busted Knuckle Productions serving as executive producer.
The movie follows three comedians embarking on a weekend of showcase shows, but those plans are thwarted by a crooked club owner and a homicidal bouncer. Dallas has been cast along with Arden Myrin, Harvey Guillén and Shawn Balentine.
