Steven Yeun is a very diverse actor which is evident in his variety of movie and tv roles. This summer, he can be seen in Jordan Peele’s latest movie Nope, which releases in theaters on July 22. Another role you may not be familiar with is his role as Speckle in the adult animated series, Tuca & Bertie.

This series was created by cartoonist Lisa Hanawalt who has worked as a production designer on the Netflix original animated series BoJack Horseman. Tuca & Bertie began as a Netflix series, but the streamer canceled it after one season. It was picked up by Cartoon Networks nighttime Adult Swim in its second season and has been renewed for a third that is scheduled to release on July 10.

Tuca & Bertie are two thirty-something anthropomorphic bird-women who live in the same apartment building. Tuca Toucan, voiced by Tiffany Haddish, is a cock, carefree toucan, while Bertie, voiced by Ali Wong, is an anxious, daydreaming songbird. The pair are great friends, and the series follows their friendship and the struggles they encounter in adulthood.
