Fear the Walking Dead season 7 finale

After thinking about all the trouble Morgan (Lennie James) got into during the Fear The Walking Dead season finale, I realized he needs to be more wary of strangers.

This sounds kind of silly but bear with me for a second: First, Morgan runs into a gang of strangers, who attempt to execute him because they think he’s a kidnapper; then, he’s saved by Madison, who promptly kidnaps Mo, and hands her off to P.A.D.R.E. He then meets Ava, who, in pursuit of Madison, leads her and Morgan into an ambush. Three encounters with strangers, all of which go considerably south on Morgan in short order.

Think back to when he tried to avoid John Dorie when he first met him, even though John was the most decent person he’d met since leaving Virginia. Maybe he should have employed that logic when he arrived in Louisiana; it might have saved him a lot of trouble.

Because of all of Morgan’s troubles, I thought the commonality between them, the fact that the people were all strangers to Morgan, made for a good theme for this week’s Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week. Since you’re going to meet strangers in a zombie apocalypse eventually, I figured it was important not to simply tell you to be cautious around them but also why you need to be careful around them.
