It was all emotions in Hall H as The Walking Dead series held its final panel at Comic Con 2022. This is something we all knew was coming, but I am unsure if any of us were actually prepared for the emotions of it all. On July 22, 2022, we saw the final SDCC trailer for The Walking Dead.

Many of our favorites were in attendance, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, Seth Gilliam, Josh McDermitt, Michael James Shaw, Cailey Fleming and Lauren Ridloff with Scott Gimple, Angela Kang and Greg Nicotero.

Fans went wild when Norman Reedus entered the stage for the final panel.

The Walking Dead series has been airing for 12 years, and that is a long time and so much dedication from the cast, crew, and everyone involved. Reedus said to the crowd, “I’ve said it a million times; it’s not just our show, it’s OUR show.”

Fan favorite Lauren Ridloff who plays Connie on the series, had this to share.

Greg Nicotero who has been there since the VERY beginning of the development of the series and has worn many hats during that time, shared about living up to the expectations of fans of the series because they wanted it to be great.

Ross Marquand shared filming the last scene. It was announced that’s an official wrap, confetti cannons, and it was done.

The Walking Dead season 11 part 3 trailer

I am not going to lie; I teared up at the beginning of this trailer. It is an outstanding tribute to this series that has meant so much to so many, and it is unreal that the end is this close.

The trailer shows viewers that things will pick up right where the midseason finale left off. It looks like a bloody showdown between our survivors, the Commonwealth, and the undead. You can watch it below.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 2, 2022, with the final episode of the series airing on November 20.
