Tales of the Walking Dead is the next spinoff in The Walking Dead universe set to premiere on AMC on Sunday, August 14 at 9 p.m ET. The first season of this series will feature six standalone stories and introduce numerous new characters to TWD Family.

The first episode, “Evie/Joe,” stars Olvia Munn and Terry Crews on a road trip of a story. Joe is a prepper who leaves the confines of his bunker and encounters an unlikely ally in a woman, Evie, who is the polar opposite of him. The duo takes off in search of their loved ones.
This is a great episode featuring two actors who have extraordinary chemistry. Crews was recently a guest on Talking Dead’s preview special and reminded viewers that he and Munn starred together in the HBO series, The Newsroom. He said they picked right back up for their episode of Tales of TWD. They effortlessly combine horror and comedy, which Crews says are two sides of the same coin.
Initially, AMC announced that AMC+ would be airing the first two episodes on August 14, with subsequent episodes will stream one week early, beginning Sunday, August 21. Now, The Walking Dead on AMC’s Twitter page has announced that Tales of the Walking Dead will be available this Thursday, August 11, on AMC+.
