Fans of Mo Collins, who plays Sarah Rabinowitz on Fear the Walking Dead, know she is a talent. She has played countless roles that are so diverse that it’s hard to believe it is the same actress. Now Collins has been announced as a headliner at the Austin Sketch Fest.

This year’s event will be held from September 29 to October 1 in Austin, Texas, at ColdTowne Theater. The Austin Sketch Fest features the best-scripted comedy from Austin and “the wilderness beyond.”  The fest is a collaborative event produced by ColdTowne Theater, The Austin Creative Alliance, The City of Austin Cultural Arts Division, and Out of Bounds Comedy Festival.

Tickets are on sale now for the low price of $69, and that includes every show, including the headliners, Mo Collins and comedy duo Girl God.

Fear the Walking Dead – Mo Collins

During her appearance at the Austin Sketch Fest, Collins will perform an hour-long stand-up comedy routine, and you will never know which of her characters will show up.  Will it be Lorraine? Trina? Or even Joan Callamezzo?

Other roles she is well known for include F is for Family, Pete the Cat, Lorraine, Lady Dynamite, MADtv and Parks and Recreation, to only name a few.

Another cool project Collins was involved in is My Babysitter the Super Hero.  This movie is a family-friendly story about two kids who discover their babysitter is the legendary super, Agent Action. This movie also stars Collins’ husband, Alex Skuby, fellow Parks and Rec actor Jim O’Heir, Maile Flanagan, Justin Ellis, Melissa Peerman, Wayne Wilderson and Paul C. Vogt.

Collins is expected to reprise her role as Sarah in season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead, which has begun filming in Savanah, Georgia. The characters were scattered during season 7 but came together at the end to seek out a new, safer location to live. The introduction of PADRE and the reappearance of Madison will add to the drama of the upcoming season.
