AMC Networks is releasing the premiere episode of its latest Walking Dead spinoff, Tales of the Walking Dead, for free via YouTube. This will give fans a free look at the new anthology series that premiered on AMC on August 14. The episode, “Evie/Joe,” aired on AMC and is available to subscribers of AMC+, but now it will be offered free via the official Walking Dead YouTube channel beginning August 18 at 3 p.m. ET.
The episode stars Terry Crews as Joe, Olivia Munn as Evie, and Kersti Bryan as Sandra. The episode is an apocalyptic road trip that goes south. Joe is a prepper who was prepared for any end-of-the-world scenario and had lived in his well-stocked bunker for over a year since the outbreak occurred. When tragedy strikes, he becomes depressed and decides to seek out a female prepper from his past.
During his journey, he comes in contact with Evie, a free spirit who is the exact opposite of Joe’s personality. Their initial introduction is rocky, and they begrudgingly set off on a road trip together that turns out much differently they either one could expect.
You can view the full episode at the link below beginning August 18 at 3 p.m. ET.
