“Dee,” tells a new chapter in the story of the Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers who was killed by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in season 10 of that series. Samantha Morton returns to TWDU as Alpha/Dee, as does Scarlett Blum, who will once again play a young Lydia.

The episode is a different version of Lydia’s remembrance of past experiences, shedding more light on the villain Alpha. It is an outstanding episode that you won’t want to miss.

AMC will air season 1, episode 3 of Tales of the Walking Dead, “Dee,” on Sunday, August 28, at 9 p.m. ET. This episode is available on AMC+.

Tales of the Walking Dead Amy/Dr. Everett

The next episode, “Amy/Dr. Everett,” is currently available on AMC+. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, September 4, at 9 p.m. ET.

This episode marks the fourth of the series and was written by Ahmadu Garba and directed by Haifaa al-Mansour, both of whom are new to The Walking Dead world. It is always wonderful to have new writers and directors in the fandom as it gives a fresh look at how the apocalypse might be.

Anthony Edwards portrays Dr. Chauncey Everett, a naturalist who has been studying walkers in a location known as the “dead sector.” Poppy Liu plays Amy, a survivalist who believes it is time to take back the land from the undead.  The series follows these characters’ encounter as they are on opposing sides of the argument.
