Tales of the Walking Dead episode 3

6) Before the title sequence, Brooke mentions that Dee and Lydia have been part of the riverboat group for a year. How long exactly that puts this from Frank’s death in “Omega”, we can’t tell.

7) At several points in this episode, we hear Alpha narrating her own history, including killing her own father. She follows this up by recounting her murder of Frank, Lydia’s father, as well as both her ambiguity about whether she intended to murder him or not and her appreciation that she did. Honestly, this gives us an even more chilling picture of Alpha than before, as someone who has had something of a history of being acclimated to murder.

8) As we would later learn from Billy, Mr. Langston is the first named character to die in this episode and the third named character to die in Tales of The Walking Dead, as Agent Rogers was still alive when we last saw him in the previous episode, and we didn’t see him as a walker. If you wanted to count Agent Rogers, Mr. Langston would be the fourth named character to die in Tales.

9) Billy leads the second group of pirates we’ve seen in the Walking Dead universe after Connor’s band of pirates patrolling the waters around San Diego at the beginning of season two of Fear The Walking Dead.

10) Of the members of Brooke’s group that Billy threatens when demanding Dee be brought to him, only Todd sticks up for her and Lydia, trying to lie about their location. The others, meanwhile, aren’t only willing to sacrifice Dee and Lydia but even attempt to throw each other under the bus.
