Tales of the Walking Dead actor Danny Ramirez will return to the MCU

Danny Ramirez stars in the sixth and final episode of the first season of Tales of the Walking Dead. The episode, “La Dona,” airs on AMC on Sunday, September 18, at 9 p.m. ET. Ramirez is well known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This week fans of Ramirez and the MCU got fantastic news at the D23 Expo.
At the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ramirez’s character, Joaquin Torres’ future was left up in the air. But, at this week’s D23 Expo, it was announced that he will reprise his role in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order that will be released in theaters in 2024.
Torres is a US Air Force lieutenant and intelligence officer and friend of Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). Could we finally see Torres suit up as the new Falcon?

Ramirez joins TWD Family with his portrayal of Eric alongside Daniella Pineda as Idalia and Julie Carmen as La Doña Alma.
This episode is an apocalyptic, psychological thriller that sees Eric and Idalia seeking shelter at the home of La Doña Alma. Is the house haunted and tormenting them, or is it only in their minds? They begin to experience incomprehensible events that strain their relationship and play with their minds.
Ramirez also stars in a new Netflix original film, Look Both Ways, with Lili Reinhart. It is a romantic comedy where Natalie (Reinhart) lives out parallel versions of her life depending on the pregnancy test results. The movie carries out over several years of her life, and in one of her scenarios, Ramirez plays Gabe, the father of her child.
You can also see him in Root Letter, a film about an impoverished teen who receives a note from a pen pal that he lost touch with over a year ago. He uses clues from her letters to solve the mystery of her disappearance.
He has also been cast with Stranger Things actress Natalia Dyer in Chestnut and will appear in season 6 of Black Mirror.
