Kim Dickens and Noah Emmerich star in The Good Nurse on Netflix

Fear the Walking Dead’s Kim Dickens and The Walking Dead’s Noah Emmerich star in a new Netflix original film, The Good Nurse, which is a thriller based on actual events. The movie will be released in select theaters on October 19, and see a Netflix release on October 26, and you won’t want to miss this one.
The Good Nurse is based on a novel by Charles Graeber, The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder, based on true events surrounding the serial killer Charles Cullen who may be responsible for over 400 between 1988 and 2003.
Directed by Tobias Lindholm and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns, this film stars Eddie Redmayne as Cullen, and Jessica Chastain plays Amy, his co-worker. The pair worked as nurses, and it was discovered that throughout his 16-year nursing career, Cullen abused his position and murdered many patients.
Cullen is currently serving 18 life sentences for the murders that authorities have been able to convict him. He was initially arrested for one murder and one attempted, which would eventually lead to the discovery of at least 40 more.
The Good Nurse cast
In addition to Dickens, Emmerich, Redmayne, and Chastain, the movie stars Malik Yoba, Nnamdi Asomugha, Nnamdi Asomugha and Marcia Jean Kurtz.
Emmerich portrays Officer Tim Braun, who, from the trailer, appears to be involved with the investigation, and Dickens looks to be part of the hospital administration team.
The cast attended the world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11.

Dickens will return to Fear the Walking Dead as a series regular for season 8. She returned in the season 7 finale after her character Madison was thought to have died in season 4. Some of her recent projects include The In Between, Land and Briarpatch.

Next, he will star in a series called The Big Cigar, a biography about Huey P. Newton, founder of the Black Panther Party, who seeks help from Bert Schneider, a film producer known for Easy Rider, to escape to Cuba.
