In this week’s The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week, we learn that in order to survive a zombie apocalypse, stay sharp and keep your wits about you.

This week’s Tales of The Walking Dead focused on the story of Davon (Jessie T. Usher), who, after a serious head injury, awoke in a place he barely recognized, chased by an angry mob of strangers, as he tried desperately to piece back together the events that led him to those circumstances.

Tired, injured, and confused, Davon had to work backward, trying to figure out what was going on, and jog his memory to better understand once he did. It was only by doing this that he was able to save himself from certain death and unravel the mystery that got him into his harrowing situation in the first place.

All of this made me realize that, as important as it is to have your body be in the best shape possible in a zombie apocalypse, it is equally important that you keep your mind sharp. Being strong, tough, and fast are all crucial things in a zombie apocalypse, but if you’re oblivious, ignorant, or just plain stupid, none of that will matter because you will either miss a threat you could have avoided or you’ll foolishly walk straight into certain doom. In this week’s Tales of The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week, we’ll tackle things you need to be on the lookout for and why having a sharp mind is so vital.
