Robert Patrick is probably best known for his role in the 1991 movie Terminator 2, but he has been acting since the late 80s and starring in many memorable roles. Walking Dead fans remember him from the season 10C episode “One More,” where he portrayed Mays and his twin brother, who tormented Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). Deadline reports that Patrick has been cast in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone prequel 1923.
Patrick will portray a character named Sheriff William McDowell, a friend of the Dutton family that Sheridan’s series focuses on. 1923 is led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, who portray Jacob and Cara Dutton, respectively. It will take place during the early 20th century when the family experience pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression.
Additional cast includes James Badge Dale, Brandon Sklenar, Sebastian Roché, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and Julia Schlaepfer.
The series will release on Paramount+ in December 2022.
