Talking Dead Walking Dead preview show tonight

In one week, fans of The Walking Dead will gather around their TVs to watch the premiere of the final episodes of this series. AMC will air the seventh episode of the 24-episode final season on October 2 at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers have marked several “lasts” during this final season, and episode 1117 will be the final midseason premiere the series will ever see. This week Talking Dead returns with a preview special to tide fans over until next Sunday.

Host Chris Hardwick will bring fans The Walking Dead: The Final Episodes Preview with special guests, showrunner Angela Kang, Cooper Andrews, who portrays Jerry, and  Paola Lázaro, who plays Princess. This special episode airs Sunday, September 25, at 9 p.m. ET.

Talking Dead final episodes preview special

It will be exciting to see what the guests are permitted to share for the final eight episodes. No doubt it will be very hush hush, but there will be fun tidbits they are allowed to share, and fans will be there for it.

Talking Dead will return for a new season following the latest episodes of TWD, but in a later timeslot to allow for AMC’s newest series, Interview with a Vampire, which also premieres on October 2, to air directly following The Walking Dead. 

Talking Dead began airing in season 2 of The Walking Dead. Initially, it was a 30-minute recap of the episode but would eventually be extended to an hour that features online polls, trivia, shows behind-the-scenes footage, answers fan questions, and the favorite  “In Memoriam” segment to honor the fallen for each episode.

The series also airs after some of the spinoff series, including Fear the Walking Dead.  Talking Dead didn’t air after the recent series Tales of the Walking Dead spinoff, but if the series is renewed, perhaps, we will see it air following those episodes as well as the other numerous spinoffs in production.
