Norman Reedus joins cast of The Bikeriders and share spinoff details
By Renee Hansen
Norman Reedus was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and that same day it was announced he was cast in a new role in the movie The Bikeriders. This the week after, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and The Walking Dead premiered the first episode of the final eight for the series.
Reedus is a multitalented man who is an actor, photographer, former model, author, and entrepreneur, but he is as humble as the day is long. During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he said he never saw the Walk of Fame honor coming.
There is a clip from an upcoming episode of The Walking Dead where Reedus’ character Daryl asks RJ (Antony Azor) where his sister Judith (Cailey Fleming) is, and she’s not where she is supposed to be. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
Daryl Dixon Spinoff
They discussed the Daryl spinoff that has yet to be titled, and Reedus has a title he is pushing for. He gave the impression that he would like it to be called Daryl Dixon. Which, in TWD world, would most likely be The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which would be cool.
He was able to share that he is put there; he doesn’t go of his own free will. He also said that they will destroy the Louvre and everything and when Kimmel asked if that was true, Reedus stated, “I didn’t say that either,” so it is hard to tell if that is true. He has been in Paris for three months scouting locations and is enjoying it. He said the series will have different sounds, tones, and photography styles.
He shared his fears, proposal story, random dreams, and more. You can watch the entire interview below.
