The Walking Dead universe is ripe with new spinoff series that will air after the main series completes its story. On November 20, the series will air the final episode, but as sad as that is, the fandom will live on with several spinoffs. One of these will see Daryl Dixon, a character portrayed by Norman Reedus since season 1, head to France on a new adventure.

On his recent Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, Reedus shared some cryptic but outstanding details about his yet-to-be-titled spinoff. He stated there are several titles floating around, but one in particular that he is partial to and pushing for. Without actually saying the words, he would like it to simply be called Daryl Dixon. One can guess that AMC would like it to be called The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, but no official announcement has been made yet.

The series will be filmed and set in France, and Reedus has been there scouting out locations.  Fans are interested to know how Daryl gets to France, and one detail he did share is, “Somehow I get put there, I don’t go on my own free will.” Similar information was shared earlier by AMC’s Dan McDermott when he stated that Daryl will try to piece together what is happening and how he got there.

Reedus also teased that they will be destroying the Louvre. Perhaps they will even destroy the Eiffel Tower, as that monument has been featured in the teaser trailer.

He also shared that this series will have different sounds, tones, and photography styles, which is what the fandom wants to see, something new. What would be the point if all of the spinoffs looked just like the flagship series?

Fans are excited to see if any familiar characters will join Daryl in this adventure. Reedus has teased in other interviews that Daryl could run into some familiar faces in this series.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, October 9.
