Congrats to The Walking Dead’s Scott M. Gimple and Angela Kang, as they have been included in The Hollywood Reporters Hollywood’s 50 Most Powerful TV Showrunners of 2022. It is always exciting to see members of The Walking Dead universe get the recognition they deserve.

Kang and Gimiple are included in an impressive list of talent, including She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s Bisha K. Ali and Jessica Gao, This Is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger and Dan Fogelman and so many more.

When asked which show she can’t stop thinking about, Kang stated Prime Video’s The Boys.

"“The Boys. It’s TV that’s not trying to be an ‘eight-hour movie’ and is more subversive and interesting than so much of what’s out there as a result.”"

Gimple shared his most embarrassing pitch involved:

"“The survival benefits of garbanzo water.”"

He also shared that he has hidden his work on Fillmore:

"Disney’s Fillmore!, the Saturday morning cartoon I created for ABC as a wee lad 20 years ago, is, alas, hidden already. It’s currently only available on Disney+ U.K. I want to de-hide it and have it available here."
