Talking Dead returns to AMC Sunday, October 9. The episode will, once again, air in a later time slot following the airing of Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire. Host Chris Hardwick was present at New York City Comic Con to moderate the final Walking Dead panel on October 8.

Talking Dead Guests

This week Hardwick welcomes Margot Bingham, who plays Max, Michael James Shaw, who plays Mercer, and Sebastian himself, Teo Rapp-Olsson. The group will break down the most recent episode, “A New Deal,” which airs on the same night.

The episode will give us some great inside information on the episode and include the traditional “In Memorandum” and other fun surprises.

The Walking Dead A New Deal

The Walking Dead will air on the same night at 9 p.m. ET. This episode will feature Carol (Melissa McBride) doing what she does best, saving everyone’s asses! She will negotiate with Governor Milton to ensure her friends are safe and free from any trouble regarding issues with Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton).

Aaron (Ross Marquand), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Lydia (Cassady McClincy) and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) will make their way to Oceanside side to tell them of a new plan. It will be interesting to learn of this communities fate after Hornsby took control.

This episode will also feature the annual Founder’s Day Festivities.

Below are the opening minutes of season 11, episode 18, “A New Deal.” This episode opens with another narration by Judith (Cailey Flemming) as viewers look back at previous episodes and familiar faces, some of which have been lost along the way.

This episode begins with a fantastic scene that picks up immediately following last week’s cliffhanger.
