The Walking Dead season 11 episode 17

3) As Hornsby’s troopers are searching for Daryl and Maggie, Negan uses his Whisperer mask to sneak up and kill one of them. This is the second time this season that he’s relied on this tactic to combat hostiles, the first being against the Reapers beginning in this season’s seventh episode, “Promises Broken”.

4) In this portion of the season, after the barn is built in the title sequence, we see the first of several changes: An aerial view of Hilltop with Commonwealth banners at its entrance. We also see an aerial view of Alexandria after the crow flock transition following the silhouette of Rick destroying the bridge, and the Commonwealth soldiers at the end now appear outside of Alexandria, all three of these include additions to the music. Finally, the logo, which had a long looked dilapidated over the last few seasons, looks fresh once more, with fresh blood pouring from the “A” and “G” in “WALKING”. All the additions look decidedly computer-generated.

5) As the troopers move in on Daryl’s position behind the van near the area where Negan ambushed their scouts, Lance Hornsby takes point, despite having no body armor, having already been shot, not being actual military personnel, and only being armed with a pistol. All things considered, pretty ballsy.
