As The Walking Dead series draws closer to its conclusion, fans look back to characters lost along the way. One of the shocking deaths in the series was that of Beth Greene. Portrayed by Emily Kinney for seasons 2-5, Beth was the daughter of Hershel (Scott Wilson) and sister of Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Many fans found her character annoying, but there is a massive amount of viewers who loved Beth and still mourn her loss. Kinney has had several memorable roles during her career, and this holiday season, she will star in a new Lifetime movie Santa Bootcamp.
The film is part of Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime 2022 programming event. This year’s event will showcase 26 feature films with a Christmas theme. The first movie, Merry Swissmas starring Jodie Sweetin, kicks off the event on November 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
Santa Bootcamp is directed by Melissa Joan Hart and will premiere on November 18 at 8 p.m. ET. This will mark Hart’s fourth directed film for the Network and reunite her with actress Marissa Jaret Winokur as they both previously worked on A Very Nutty Christmas.

Kinney will play Emily Strauss, an event planner in the movie. Additional cast includes EGOT winner Rita Moreno, Patrick Cassidy, Justin Gaston, and Marissa Jaret Winokur. To highlight Lifetime’s commitment to diversity, the film stars deaf actors Deanne Bray and Zyra Singleton.
The film follows Emily after she is hired by mall magnate Ed Mancini (Cassidy) to plan an unforgettable Christmas Gala for his top investors. Emily then attends Santa Bootcamp, where she seeks to find the perfect Santa for the event and inspiration to make the event a success. She partners with the camp’s drill sergeant Belle (Moreno), who helps her tap into the magic of Christmas and finds romance in the process.
