Walking Dead’s Nick Gomez cast in FX’s Fargo series
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead is fortunate to have had an extremely talented cast since the beginning. The series has featured many talented actors who have gone on to other memorable roles. One of those is Nick Gomez, who portrayed Tomas in season 3. He was the leader of the group of prisoners discovered by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who had been locked up since the outbreak. Deadline recently announced that Gomez was added to the cast of FX’s Fargo.
Fargo, the series is created and primarily written by Noah Hawley and is based on the Coen Brothers’ 1996 film of the same name. The Coen’s were so impressed with Hawley’s script that they agreed to serve as executive producers for the series. The fifth installment will ask: “When is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?”
Set in anthology format, each season presents its own story in a different period and location. Gomez was announced for the fifth season with David Rysdahl, Sam Spruell, and Jessica Pohly. They join the previously announced Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris and Richa Moorjani.
Gomez shared his excitement via Instagram.
