The Walking Dead season 11 episode 20 What’s Been Lost release date
By Renee Hansen
AMC will air episode 19 of The Walking Dead on Sunday, October 16. This episode is titled “Variant,” and fans expect to see something of the variant walkers teased by showrunner Angela Kang. These walkers will be a nod to walkers seen in earlier seasons who could pick things up, turn door knobs, etc.
“Variant” will see Eugene (Josh McDermitt) as he tries to avoid Mercer (Michael James Shaw), who is tasked with finding him as Governor Milton (Laila Robins) wants Eugene for the murder of her son Sebastian (Teo Rapp Olsson).
At the same time, Aaron (Ross Marquand), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Lydia (Cassady McClincy) and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) encounter a complication on the road to Oceanside. They have much-needed supplies for Alexandira but want to stop at Oceanside, check in with them, and tell them of the new plan.
AMC will air season 11, episode 18, ”Variant,” on Sunday, October 16, at 9 p.m. ET.
The Walking Dead What’s Been Lost
The next episode, “What’s Been Lost,” is now available on AMC+. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, October 23, at 9 p.m. ET.
The twentieth episode of season 11 was written by Erik Mountain and directed by Aisha Tyler. Mountain has written several episodes in season 11, including the penultimate episode, “Family,” which will air on November 13. Tyler is a TWDU veteran who has directed and starred in Fear the Walking Dead and directed two episodes of The Walking Dead: World Beyond. This episode marks her directorial debut for the main series.
The synopsis is vague for this episode and states that Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) will search for their missing friends.
Be warned, the trailer below is for the 20th episode, so if you haven’t watched episode 19, I would wait to view this one.
