The Walking Dead final season

7) As Daryl is in the midst of packing to leave the Commonwealth and notices that Judith is missing, we see R.J. reading an Invincible comic, which has popped as Easter eggs in the series since at least the season five episode, “Remember”.

8) In another bit of mentioning long gone characters from the series, as Daryl and Carol discuss Judith running off, Daryl asks “What would he do?” to which Carol replies Rick’s not here. You are.” before recounting her own apprehension after Sophia was born.

9) After Eugene questions the wisdom of Max’s plan to stop Sebastian and/or expose him, she says that she knew he was bad news and did nothing, saying that Eugene didn’t know what the guilt was like. Eugene replies that he’s quite familiar with guilt’s burden, a reference to his lying about having a solution to the walkers, as well as all the members of his, Abraham, and Rosita’s group that died trying to protect him.

10) While taking a break from practicing his speech to have a drink with Max, Sebastian says [Giving this speech/grooming for leadership] should be my brother. That’s the one she wanted. I’m just the one that’s still here.” This is the first time we’ve ever heard mention of Sebastian’s brother. Was he older or younger? Obviously, he died, but when? Before the outbreak? During? After the Commonwealth was established? Was he a soldier? How did he die? Hopefully, we’ll learn more about him before the series conclusion.
