The Walking Dead, Variant: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Things are bad for Eugene in the Commonwealth, but they may get worse for everyone outside of it. Get all the details in The Walking Dead: Things To Note!
We only have five episodes left of The Walking Dead, and the snowball has begun to roll. First, the Commonwealth’s governor, Pamela Milton, is on the warpath following the death of her son, Sebastian, and has Eugene Porter firmly in her crosshairs. Both to punish Eugene and to send a message to the rest of the increasingly unruly populace, she means to see him executed, and if anyone else from the Virginia communities happens to get caught in the dragnet, so much the better.
Meanwhile, outside of the Commonwealth, things aren’t much better. The communities are still recovering from the Whisperers’ attack, as well as Lance Hornsby’s incursion, and, while en route to Oceanside, Aaron and Jerry encounter something that, up that point, had been little more than a ghost story: A walker with the ability to climb, open doors, even remember some of the things it sees. A smart walker.
These were the key moments of the episode, though, and in between, there were a lot of hints, clues, details, and references that you might have easily overlooked. For example, did you catch the subtle reference to Morgan’s late wife in last week’s episode? Well, if you didn’t, don’t worry: I’ve got you covered. I’ve taken all those little details and amassed them here for you to enjoy!
Are you ready? It’s time for this week’s installment of The Walking Dead: Things To Note!
