The Walking Dead series will end its 12-year run in 2022. It is a sad time within the fandom, as it is when any favorite series comes to an end. Walking Dead fans do have the comfort of knowing that there are several spinoffs in the works which will carry on some of the characters’ stories. Norman Reedus revealed that his Daryl Dixon series began filming in France today.

The eleventh and final season of the series was a mega-size season consisting of 24 episodes segmented into three parts. The first began airing in August 2021, the second in February 2022, and the final installment of episodes premiered on October 2, 2022.

When it was first announced that the last season would have 24 episodes, it seemed like this season would last for quite some time. But now we are drawing ever so close to the final episode that it is unreal.

The Walking Dead season 11 episodes

The Walking Dead season 11, part 3, contains eight episodes, four of which have already aired on AMC. Below are the episodes that have already aired:

1117 “Lockdown” – October 2

1118 “A New Deal” – October 9

1119 “Variant” – October 16

1120 “What’s Been Lost” – October 23

There are four remaining episodes as of today, October 24, 2022. AMC+ currently has episode 1121 available to watch for those subscribers.

1121 “Outpost 22” – October 30 – The survivors track a convoy to a mysterious destination.

1122  “Faith” – November 6

1123 “Family” – November 13

1124 “Rest in Peace” – November 20 – series finale

So far, things have been moving rapidly with much dissension within the Commonwealth community.

Many loose ends need to be addressed before this series ends, but it will be impossible for all of them to wrap with only four episodes remaining. Here are some that we would like to see answered.

  • What happened to the Oceanside residents, esp. Luke (Dan Fogler) and Jules (Alex Sgambati). (and our other randomly missing characters like Kal (James Chen) and Eduardo (Peter Luis Zimmerman).
  • Will Judith (Cailey Fleming) tell everyone that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) isn’t dead?
  • Will Jerry (Cooper Andrews) and Nabila (Nadine Marissa) get their Kingdom 2.0?
  • Where do all the kids end up?
  • Will we find out if the Commonwealth is connected to the CRM (Civic Republic Military)
