The Good Nurse starring Kim Dickens and Noah Emmerich, now streaming

Walking Dead universe actors Kim Dickens and Noah Emmerich star in a new Netflix original film. The Good Nurse, now streaming, a release that is part of the Netflix and Chills campaign for Halloween 2022.
Dickens is well known in TWDU for her portrayal of Madison Clark in Fear the Walking Dead. A fan favorite character who recently returns to the series’ seventh season. Emmerich is well known for his role on The Walking Dead as Dr. Jenner, who appeared in the season 1 finale episode and told Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) that we’re all infected. Jenner would appear several years later in a post-credits scene of the spinoff series The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
Now both actors star in The Good Nurse, released on Netflix on October 26. This film is based on a novel by Charles Graeber, The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder. Graeber’s story is based on the actual events of the serial killer Charles Cullen.
The Good Nurse – Netflix
The movie is directed by Tobias Lindholm and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns, with Redmayne portraying Cullen and Jessica Chastain playing Amy, his co-worker. They work together as nurses, and events unfold, revealing the abuse Cullen directed toward his patients, to which he murdered at least 40.
In the movie, Amy becomes suspicious of Cullen and risks her life to save those of his patients. This character is based on Cullen’s real-life colleague who drew attention to his actions.
From the trailer, it appears that Dicken plays a role in the hospital administration while Emmerich is Officer Tim Braun, who is involved in the investigation. The film also stars Malik Yoba, Nnamdi Asomugha, Nnamdi Asomugha and Marcia Jean Kurtz.
