The Walking Dead season 11 not coming to Netflix in November

If you are a fan of The Walking Dead and not living under a rock, you are fully aware that the season will end on November 20, 2022, with the series finale episode “Rest in Peace.” This title gives a nod to the final volume of the comic story created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. Many fans wait for the Netflix release to binge the season in its entirety. So what seasons of The Walking Dead are on Netflix?

The Walking Dead series has been airing for 12 years with 11 seasons under its belt. That is quite impressive for something initially touted as a zombie series. Set in an apocalypse, zombies, or walkers rather, are a prevalent threat in the series, but as with the comics, it is humans who are the worst threat.

Fans of the series initially tuned in as they were fans of the zombie genre or the comic story. But as they would quickly learn, this series highlights the survival skills of the humans and their stories. This is what has kept viewers returning for 12 years.

The Walking Dead season 11 Netflix release

Currently, seasons 1- 10 of The Walking Dead are available to stream with your Netflix subscription. This has been an excellent way for fans to reminisce while waiting for the dreaded final episode.

But when will the final season of the series be released on the streamer? Sadly, this most likely won’t happen until early 2023. AMC has never released a season on Netflix prior to its completion on the network. As there is no official announcement of the final season release on Netflix, please don’t get your hopes up that it will happen before the end of 2022.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET with a Talking Dead episode following Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire.
