Walking Dead producer Denise Huth was the dead wife of this character

With the clock ticking towards the final episode of The Walking Dead series, many of the cast and crew have been taking fans on a trip down memory lane. Actors, new and old, have shared photos from previous seasons, and many of the crew and others involved have followed suit. Since the beginning, Denise Huth, an executive producer for the series, shared a fun flashback photo.
Huth recently shared a great photo many may have forgotten about or missed the significance of. The image is that of The Blake family, consisting of Philip, Penny, and the wife, Mrs. Blake. This is the Governor’s (David Morrissey) family, and although she died pre-apocalypse in a car accident, Mrs. Blake was featured in several episodes in this photograph.
Look familiar? Yes, producer Denise Huth posed for this family photo of The Blakes, believing it would only appear in one episode. But, it would go on to be featured in several episodes, the final being “Live Bait,” the sixth episode of season 4. Viewers see the Governor, who is now referring to himself as Brian Heriot, burning the photo.
Huth posted the photo stating that even though the Governor destroyed the image on-screen, she still possesses the original.
The Walking Dead – Denise Huth
The end of the series has to be heartbreaking for Huth, as she has been there since the creation alongside Frank Darabont. It has to be tough to dedicate 12 years of your life to a project and watch it end. But there also has to be much satisfaction in being involved in such a historical TV series.
Huth previously worked with Darabont on his 2007 movie, The Mist, which is based on a novella by Stephen King. She was co-producer on this film that stars Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, and several TWD actors.
Here are some BTS photos of Huth on the set of The Walking Dead.
