Watch The Walking Dead: The Making of the Final Season early

Sunday, November 13, AMC will air the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead series. Season 11, episode 23, “Family,” will set things up for the series finale episode, “Rest in Peace,” which airs simultaneously on AMC and AMC+ on November 20 with a huge The Walking Dead LIVE The Finale Event in Los Angeles.

Ahead of episode 1123, AMC will air The Walking Dead: The Making of the Final Season at 8 p.m. ET. This special has a 43-minute runtime and will see the cast and crew reflect on the long-running series and the work it took to bring this part of the story to a conclusion.

This is a fantastic way for fans to see what goes into creating their favorite series featuring interviews with cast members and flashbacks to where the series began.

Fans who subscribe to AMC+ subscribers can stream this special early as it is currently available through that service.

The Walking Dead finale event

The fans lucky enough to secure tickets for the free event will be treated to a Fan Experience with drinks from The Sexton and Lagunitas and walker-themed foods. Canva will host a Designing Dead Photobooth to capture a fun memory of the event.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will host the Live Pre-Show event that begins at 8:30 p.m. ET. This will feature cast arrivals, the most significant moments of TWD, and teasers for the last episode.

There will be a viewing of the finale episode followed by a supersized Talking Dead to celebrate the greatness of TWD, with surprise appearances and exclusive info about the upcoming spinoff series.
