The Walking Dead season 11, episode 24 release date and synopsis

Fans of The Walking Dead are frantically searching AMC+ for the series finale episode. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the finale will not be available a week early. This Sunday, November 13 the penultimate episode, “Family,” will air at 9 p.m. ET. This episode was released one week earlier on AMC+ for subscribers of this service.
“Family” is the 23rd episode of the eleventh and finale season of the series. Viewers will see a horde descending on the Commonwealth, while our Alexandria survivors will also be heading to the exact location.
The trailer also reveals that Eugene (Josh McDermitt), aided by Mercer (Michael James Shaw), has escaped execution but is being hunted by Pamela Milton’s (Laila Robins) soldiers.
The Walking Dead finale episode
On Sunday, November 20, 2022, AMC will air the last episode of The Walking Dead, titled “Rest in Peace.” This is the exact date that the episode will release on AMC+ to avoid revealing spoilers for the last chapter of this story. This is the final episode of the series, and fans shouldn’t have to worry about someone spoiling their enjoyment of what is to come.
“Rest in Peace” is written by showrunner Angela Kang and directed by Greg Nicotero. This marks the 30th episode Kang has written and the 37th that Nicotero has directed. It is fitting that these two are partners for the finale, as they have dedicated so many years to this show.
The official synopsis for this episode:
"Daryl and Carol rush Judith to the hospital; Rosita, Eugene and Gabriel search for Coco; Maggie and Negan take arms against Pamela; the heros assemble for one last stand."
It will be a bittersweet evening as fans come together to celebrate a series that has been airing for 12 years, 11 seasons, and 177 episodes. Those are significant milestones for a TV Series, and The Walking Dead has always been so much more than just a “zombie show.”
