It is always exciting to see members of The Walking Dead universe in new roles. But it is doubly good when two or more of our favorite TWDU actors appear in a new project together. Lennie James and Avi Nash star in a new romantic comedy There, There that is available on Amazon Prime.

There, There is a romantic comedy film directed and written by Andrew Bujalski (Computer Chess). The movie was filmed in 2021 over six months and, due to COVID restrictions, never saw two actors being filmed simultaneously. Making for a fascinating piece of cinema. Bujalski worked individually with each actor to create separate monologues and then pieced them together to create the conversations on screen.

In addition to James and Nash, the cast includes Jason Schwartzman, Lili Taylor, Annie La Ganga, Angela Bedekovic, Molly Gordon, Jasmine Skloss Harrison, Jon Natchez, and Roy Nathanson.

There, There is currently available on Amazon Prime for rent ($7.99) or purchase ($16.00).  Check out the trailer below.

The Walking Dead – Lennie James

James is a staple within TWDU. He was one of the first characters introduced in the pilot episode in 2010. Now, 12 years later, he is still featured but has taken a step as one of three crossover characters to the first spinoff series, Fear the Walking Dead. James made the crossover during the fourth season of Fear TWD.

Don’t miss James in a series he created and wrote, Save Me, in which he also stars as the lead, Nelly Rowe. You can stream this series on Peacock.

The Walking Dead – Avi Nash

Nash is known as Siddiq in TWDU and portrayed this character during seasons 9-10. He was a doctor who met his demise at the hands of a Whisperer who infiltrated Alexandria. He is also the biological father of Rosita’s (Christian Serratos) baby, Coco.

You will recognize him from his other roles in Barry, Silicon Valley, It’s a Man’s World, and more. Next, he will star in a drama series, Wool, and a film, The Braid.
