AMC’s The Walking Dead series has concluded, so now fans are in rewatch mode or scoping out other titles featuring the actors from the series. Netflix offers a massive list of titles featuring TWDU actors. One series that might have slipped viewers’ notice is Leopard Skin, now showing on Peacock, which stars The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) and Margot Bingham (Max)
Leopard Skin premiered on Peacock on November 17, 2022, and is written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, who is well known for directing With/In, Elizabeth Harvest, and Hotel Noir. The crime thriller series consists of eight episodes with a 94% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The series follows a botched diamond heist orchestrated by Morgan’s Judge LaSalle. The criminal gang consisting of Sierra, Fausto, and Clover, responsible for the theft, seeks shelter in a Playa Perdida, Mexico, beach house occupied by two intriguing women, Alba and Batty. This leads to dark and humorous complications when dinner guests arrive, including documentary producer Max, his flighty girlfriend Maru, and the former housekeeper Inocencia. A hostage situation, murderous secrets, betrayals, and shocking desires ensue as everyone waits for their fate to be decided.
