Walking Dead actor Michael James Shaw featured by Blank Studio NYC

Actor and writer Michael James Shaw was an outstanding addition to The Walking Dead series. His portrayal of Commonwealth General, Mercer, was exactly as it should have been, and fans enjoyed Shaw’s dedication to the character and source material. This week Blank Studio NYC featured Shaw in its creative to watch series.
Blank Studio NYC featured some images of Shaw from a fantastic photo shoot, and he answered a few questions regarding his work.
When asked what his most fulfilling project of 2022 was, Shaw stated that he was honored to work on the final season of The Walking Dead. His character not only survived the series but, during the one-year time jump, had been promoted to a position within the Commonwealth worthy of his experience and dedication to the community.
He also stated that a lesson he learned this year was that “You are enough. Continue to do the work, and you’ll always be enough.
Shaw shared that he will focus on a more consistent self-care routine in the upcoming year. Fans who follow his Instagram see how passionate he is about caring for himself. He offered this advice; it’s “best not to grab at things or become impatient. What’s for you is undeniably for you.”

What does Michael James Shaw star in?
Shaw, who attended the master’s program at Julliard School, is well known for his role as Mercer on The Walking Dead and FBI agent Daryl/Mike on Limitless and Blood & Treasure, where he plays the role of Aiden Shaw. He also stars in the series Constantine as Papa Midnite.
He is also well known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Corvus Glaive, which he played in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game.
