When can you watch The Walking Dead season 11 on Netflix?
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead series concluded its long-running story in November 2022, and fans of the series will continue to rewatch the series regularly. Many fans turn to Netflix as the streamer currently has seasons 1-10 of the series available.
Many fans who have AMC as one of their cable channels or subscribe to AMC+ have already viewed the final season. Others opt to wait until the series releases on Netflix to have a binge watch of the season. The eleventh and finale season is a super-sized 24 episodes which may need to be binged in batches.
The final season did a fantastic job of tying up many loose ends, as you know what Abraham says about those! And even gave a glimpse into the near future.
When does Walking Dead season 11 release on Netflix?
Fans who prefer the Netflix route will be happy to learn that on Friday, January 6, 2023, which happens to be Norman Reedus’ birthday, season 11 will release on the streamer. This will give subscribers access to the entire series. This release date is much sooner than anticipated and is welcome news for fans.
Fans will be able to binge to their heart’s content on Netflix, and this should ease the void felt by having no content in 2023 until at least April when the first direct spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, premieres on AMC and AMC+. This series will follow Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) on a new adventure. Viewers are very curious about the pairing of this unlikely duo.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, filmed and set in France, will premiere later in the year, followed by The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne in the fall of 2023.
