Fear the Walking Dead’s Alycia Debnam-Carey in Saint X, first look photos

Actress Alycia Debnam-Carey portrayed Alicia Clark on Fear the Walking Dead from the pilot episode until the penultimate episode of season 7. Her departure disappointed fans of the series as she has long been a fan favorite. Debnam-Carey was ready to move on and pursue new projects and will next be seen in the Hulu series Saint X.
The new Hulu series is directed by Darren Grant (Millions) and Dee Rees (Mudbound), who also executive produces. The series was written by Leila Gerstein, known for The Handmaid’s Tale and Hart of Dixie, and is based on the 2020 bestselling novel by Alexis Schaitkin.
Debnam-Carey joined the cast as Emily after Victoria Pedretti (You) separated from the series early in 2022. She portrays Emily as an ambitious woman whose life appears perfect from the outside and begins to crumble.
The actress shared the first look photos on Instagram.
Saint X release date
Elle reports that Hulu will release three episodes of Saint X on April 26, with new episodes following weekly.
Saint X synopsis
The girl-gone-missing drama is told across multiple timelines from different perspectives. As in the novel, the story tells of the death of a girl shrouded in mystery on the Caribbean island of Saint X. This event deeply affected her younger sister, Emily, who was on the island for a family vacation with her sister. This tragic event will lead Emily on a quest to find out the truth bout her sister’s death and reveal who her sister really was.
Additional cast for the series includes Josh Bonzie, Jayden Elijah, West Duchovny, Betsy Brandt, and Michael Park.

Debnam-Carey has several other projects in the works, including The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, It’s What’s Inside, and Liked.
She will star in a short titled Lovebug with fellow Fear TWD actors Colby Minifie (Virginia), Austin Amelio (Dwight), and Craig Nigh (Hill) set to release on Feb. 2, 2023.
