The Walking Dead season 11 Blu-ray release date and details

After only a few months since the final season of The Walking Dead concluded, AMC Networks has announced that the entire 24-episode last season will release on Blu-ray and DVD on March 14. Distributed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Walking Dead: The Complete Eleventh Season will compile the entire final season of the long-running apocalyptic drama series in a six-disc set.

According to the press release, the Blu-ray with a bonus digital copy and special features has a total runtime of 16 hours and 45 minutes. Pre-orders for the season are available at Amazon and elsewhere with the Blu-ray SRP of $59.99 and DVD SRP of $49.98.

Walking Dead fans who collect physical copies are eager to get their hands on this last chapter of the series. The announced special features are scaled back from what has been seen with previous seasons but do include deleted scenes from “New Haunts” and “Rogue Element.” It is yet to be seen if the traditional commentaries from cast and crew, making of segments, the memorial, and other bonus features will be included in the Blu-ray set.

Fans of The Walking Dead who don’t care to own physical copies can stream the entire season on Netflix. In Jan. 2022, AMC shocked fans with such an early release on the streamer, and the series immediately climbed to the No. 2 spot on the Netflix Top 10 Shows List in the US.

Season 11 of the series began airing on AMC and AMC+ in August 2021, with the final episode airing on November 20, 2022. The final season saw a significant focus on the progressive community of the Commonwealth.
