Sahana Srinivasan had a short-lived but impactful role during Fear the Walking Dead’s season 6 episode “In Dreams.” She played an older version of Grace’s (Karen David) stillborn daughter Athena in an emotional dream sequence. Deadline reports that Srinivasan has been cast in The Pradeeps Of Pittsburgh, which will air on Amazon Freevee.
Showrunner Vijal Patel writes this immigrant comedy based on events in his own life. He told Deadline, “This show is from a very personal place and explores the many facets of the immigrant struggle. As my parents say, the pain got funnier over time—like wine.”
The story follows the Pradeeps in the first months after moving from Inda to America. Told via humorous flashback of their time in an interrogation room and present dealings with their polar opposite American neighbors. The story explores all facets of their lives, romantic, personal, and professional.

Srinivasan plays Bhanu Pradeep, a rebellious teen who tries to find ways to live her own life out of her mother’s scrutiny. In true rebellious spirit, she befriends someone her mother can’t tolerate, the neighbor’s son.

Srinivasan is known for her roles in Grown-ish, For All Mankind, S.W.A.T., It’s Pony, Minx, Sex Appeal, and Insecure.
She also served as the host for Netflix’s Brainchild series produced by Pharrell Williams. This series ran for one season, and Srinivasan was called “a hipper, more accessible Bill Nye for the digital generation” by the Dallas Observer.
She produces her own short films and music videos and is a stand-up comedian.
