Entertainment Weekly reports that The Walking Dead universe actor and director Michael Cudlitz has been cast in the third season of the CW’s Superman & Lois series. Cudlitz, known for his role as Abraham Ford on The Walking Dead, will portray a new version of the iconic DC villain Lex Luthor.

Luthor is a brutal psychopath known for terrorizing anyone who gets in his way. Upon his return to the story, Luthor is hellbent on exacting revenge on Superman and Lois, believing they have greatly wronged him.
The series also stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, and Michael Bishop.
In Sept. 2022, it was reported that fellow Walking Dead actor Chad Coleman was cast in the role of Bruno Mannheim. There hasn’t been more information regarding this character for the upcoming season.
