Actress and comedian Mo Collins will star in a new series on ABC, Not Dead Yet, that will premiere in February 2023. Collins is well known for her roles in Fear the Walking Dead as Sarah Rabinowitz and Joan Callamezzo in Parks and Rec.

Not Dead Yet is created by David Windsor and Casey Johnson, known for their work on The Real O’Neals, which will air on ABC. The series will begin airing two episodes on Feb. 8, 2023, with weekly installments to follow. The series will also stream on Hulu. The pilot is based on  Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up by Alexandra Potter. The series follows Nell Serrano (Gina Rodriguez), a woman who begins writing obituaries to make ends meet. Much to her surprise, the dead subjects of her writing begin to visit her, willing to lead her life advice.

The series also stars series regulars Hannah Simone as Sam, Lauren Ash as Lexi, Rick Glassman as Edward, Josh Banday as Dennis, and Angela Gibbs as Cricket. It appears that the dead who visit Nell will be played by a list of amazingly talented actors, including Martin Mull, Ed Begley Jr., Deborah S. Craig, Telma Hopkins, Don Lake, Rhea Perlman, Paula Pell, Tony Plana, Brittany Snow, and Julia Sweeney. Collins will also portray one of Nell’s visitors, as seen in the trailer below.

Collins will portray Sarah on Fear the Walking Dead in the eighth and final season of the series that begins airing on AMC Mary 14, 2023. Part 1 will pick up where season 7 left off, but the second segment of episodes will experience a seven-year time jump. This will bring Fear TWD almost current with The Walking Dead series ending timeline.
