Fear the Walking Dead season 8 is not coming to AMC in March 2023
By Renee Hansen
Fans of Fear the Walking Dead are anxiously awaiting the premiere of season 8, which will see returning fan-favorite character Madison (Kim Dickens) as a series regular. Fear TWD is the first spinoff of The Walking Dead series and recently moved production to Savanah, Georgia.
AMC recently announced that season 8 of Fear TWD would also be the final. This was sad news for fans, who only last season were disappointed at the departure of Alycia Debnam-Carey, who played Alicia since season 1. But the recent teaser shows that this season will be action-packed and very exciting. The first look at the long sought-after PADRE was revealed, and what was long thought to be a haven appears to be something quite different.
Another interesting announcement is that the final season of the series will experience a seven-year time jump, which will bring this series in line with TWD’s timeline.
Fear the Walking Dead won’t be released on AMC in March, but fans don’t have much longer to wait.
Fear the Walking Dead release date
With the announcement that season 8 would be the last, AMC also announced that Fear TWD would debut part 1 of the final season on May 14, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET This date will be almost one year since the season 7 finale episode on June 5, 2022, which marked the return of Madison. The twelve-episode season will premiere part 2 at a later date.
The final episode of the series began filming recently, and the final dinner was held. This brings about a bittersweet time for the cast crew and the fans who have enjoyed this series since it began airing in 2015.
