The Walking Dead actor Markice Moore is known for his role as Andrew, one of the prisoners discovered at the West Georgia Correctional Facility by Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) group in season 3. Moore is now starring in a new BET+ series Legacy that begins airing on the network on March 2.

Streaming exclusively on BET+, Legacy, a three-episode original series was created by Manny Halley, who also wrote and executive produced with Yolanda Halley and producers Rodney Turner and Denee Busby Howard.

Ving Rhames leads the series as Guy Simmons, the patriarch of the Simmons family and notorious mobster. The Simmons family is a ruling crime family in the south, Simmons owns the streets, and as he fights for his life, a sibling rivalry could jeopardize his legacy and criminal enterprise.

The legacy he created for his sons, Kevin and Tysean, is jeopardized by his womanizing ways. The mothers of his sons hate one another, as do his sons. The brotherly beef could have deadly repercussions.

Moore and Rhams star in the limited series with AJ Johnson, Lisa Raye, and Clifton Powell.

None of the inmates lasted long in the series. Andrew would be killed by his fellow inmate Oscar (Vincent Ward) in episode 4 of season 3.

Moore has starred in many memorable roles throughout his long-running career. He is known for his roles in BMF, Law & Order: Organized Crime, ATL, Point Blank, The Paynes, and many more.

He has several upcoming roles listed on IMDB, The Fearless Threes, 45 SEconds, Spaghetti, Alan Tracker, and Danksgiving.

He is also the CEO of Both Sides of the Camera, where he has made his mark as a producer and writer.
