Fear the Walking Dead actress Sandrine Holt cast in Daredevil: Born Again

On the heels of the announcement that Walking Dead Actor Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle/Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again, it was reported that another TWDU cast member would also join the series. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Sandrine Holt, known for her role as Dr. Bethany Exner on Fear the Walking Dead, has also been cast in the series.
The Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again has been ordered for an 18-episode run that will begin filming in New York in March 2023. Written and produced by the Covert Affairs duo of Matt Corman and Chirs Ord, this series features characters whose stories began on Marvel series created for Netflix in the mid-2010s.
Fans who have longed to see Bernthal as the Punisher once again will finally get their wish. Charlie Cox will reprise his role as attorney/crime fighter Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as mob boss Wilson Fisk. Holt will join the cast as Vanessa Fisk, wife of the mob boss, with additional cast members Michael Gandolfini and Margarita Levieva.

Holt was introduced as Dr. Bethany Exner in season 1 of Fear the Walking Dead. She was a cold, callous woman who used her medical knowledge to help as many people as she could at the onset of the outbreak. The hopelessness she sees causes her to lose any bit of hope she had, and she starts to put patients down to spare them from being eaten alive by the undead. She eventually shoots herself to avoid that same fate.
She is well known for her roles in Mayor of Kingstown, Better Call Saul, The Aviary, The Expanse, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Crossing, Homeland, and McGyver. Other notable roles include House of Cards, The Returned, Hostages, and 24.
Daredevil: Born Again won’t be her first project with Bernthal. They starred together in the American Gigolo series that airs on Showtime.
