Fear the Walking Dead’s Demetrius Grosse to join MCU in Wonder Man

Rampage and Fear the Walking Dead actor Demetrius Grosse may be the next Walking Dead universe actor to join the MCU. On the heels of Steven Yeun’s announcement that he is joining Thunderbolts, rumors have begun circulating that Grosse is in talks with Marvel for Wonder Man, a project thought to be scrapped.
CBR and others have reported that DanielRPK speculates that Grosse is in talks to play Eric Williams/Grim Reaper. This character is the brother of the title character Simon Williams/Wonder Man, who was previously announced to be played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Eric Williams/Grim Reaper welds a coma-inducing scythe created by the Tinkerer and enhanced by Ultron. Considered the black sheep of his family, while his brother Simon was doted on, Eric then turned to a life of crime. He took up his alter ego after he thought his brother had died and first appeared in The Avengers #52 in 1968.
First announced in June 2022, Wonder Man is a series that has been in limbo since. IMDB also has Ben Kingsley and Lauren Glazier (who starred in Tales of the Walking Dead) listed as cast members for the series.
UPDATE 03/29/2023: TV Line reports that Grosse has officially signed on for the Marvel series in the role of Eric Williams/Grim Reaper. Filming for the series is expected to being in the Spring 2023.

What else does Demetrius Grosse star in?
He is known for portraying twins Josiah and Emile LaRoux in Fear the Walking Dead; Grosse has had many memorable roles throughout his career.
Grosse recently starred in the first episode of Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, streaming on Netflix. Other newer releases include Boon, Strong Enough, Avalon, and Untitled Kay Oyegun Drama Plot.
Other roles Grosse is known for include The Rookie, Frontier, The Brave, Westworld, Game of Silence, ER, and Straight out of Compton.
Next, he will star in a thrilled Survival with Elise Neal and Dylan McNamara. He will play Reverend Martin in Possum Trot, a film inspired by the true story of 22 families from Possum Trot, Texas, who adopt 77 of the most difficult-to-place children in the foster system.
