Beef actor Steven Yeun became well known during his role as Glenn Rhee on The Walking Dead. Since then, he has paved his way as a talented actor while playing many memorable roles. Deadline reports that in May 2023, Yeun and his Beef co-star Ali Wong and creator Lee Sung Jin will be included in Gold House’s 2023 A100 list.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is celebrated each May in the United States. It recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian American and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. In its sixth year, Gold House has compiled its list of Asian Pacific leaders who have significantly impacted American culture in the past year.

The list is broken into five categories: activism and journalism; business and technology; entertainment and media; lifestyle and fashion; and sports and gaming, with one person, named the A1 in each list. This person has had the most significant impact in their category.

Yeun, Wong, and Jin are listed in the entertainment and media category for which Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria was named the A1.

The honorees will be celebrated May 5-7 at various events, with the Gold Gala on May 6.
