The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1 episode titles and release dates
By Renee Hansen
AMC created a lot of excitement in The Walking Dead universe by releasing the full-length trailer for The Walking Dead: Dead City. This new series is a drastic departure from the wooded setting of the main series and will be an adrenaline-fueled story that will see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) enlist the help of her former foe Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Dead City will begin about two years after the events of The Walking Dead’s series finale and see Maggie’s son Hershel (Logan Kim) abducted by a man formerly acquainted with Negan known as The Croat (Zeljko Ivanek). The pair will head to Manhattan to find Hershel and take care of The Croat and his group. Another added complication will be Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), marshal of New Babylon, for a federation of city-states in Virginia, is hunting down Negan.
While there appears to be many enemies on the island, Maggie and Negan do find a fraction willing to assist them in locating The Croat. There is also the added issue of a horde of walkers over 1 million strong.
