Fear the Walking Dead season 8 episode 4 is titled “King County,” and fans know what that means. The trailer for the eighth and final season of Fear TWD revealed that Morgan Jones (Lennie James) would travel back to Georgia and visit his old home in King County. This has fans speculating what it could mean for Morgan’s storyline.
Morgan has been away from Georgia for quite some time. He made his way to Alexandria and would then travel to Texas when he crossed over to Fear the Walking Dead’s timeline during its fourth season.
In the final season of Fear the Walking Dead, PADRE is the new big bad, but Morgan needs to do something in Georgia before he can take on PADRE. Madison (Kim Dickens) created a diversion to allow him to escape so he can do what needed to be done.
In the first episode of season 8, Mo (Zoey Merchant) uncovered some of Morgan’s graffiti, reminiscent of his “Clear” days from The Walking Dead. He had the words King Count, Duane, and Jenny written on the walls and then covered over.
Fear the Walking Dead – King County
The synopsis for this episode reads: Morgan returns to King County, but things quickly get complicated.
Morgan’s reason for returning likely concerns his son Duane ( Adrian Kali Turner). The whole story of how Duane was bitten by his mother’s reanimated corpse was never told, and it has been something that has haunted Morgan since. This episode will probably fill in the blanks of Morgan’s story and help him get the closure he needs to become the parent Mo needs.
Fear the Walking Dead premieres new episodes on AMC on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET and AMC+ three days early on Thursdays.
