Walking Dead actress Lauren Cohan is well known for her portrayal of Maggie Rhee (nee Green) in the series. Soon fans will see her in the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City, in which Maggie teams up with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the man who killed her husband. Cohan was a guest on Good Mythical Morning, and hosts Rhett McLaughlin, and Link Neal have strong opinions on this partnership.

The episode Cohan appeared in “You Shouldn’t Be Able to do This,” featured the Unlikely Pairs Challenge, which is fitting. While making the introductions, Link expresses his displeasure of Maggie and Negan paring up, asking Cohan, “How can you do that? He killed your husband in a very, very memorably brutal way!”

Cohan then faces a series of challenges against Thert (Rhett) and Link, but does she win? You’ll have to watch and find out!

The Walking Dead: Dead City – Lauren Cohan

Cohan’s new series Dead City will premiere on AMC on June 18 at 9 p.m. ET and AMC+ on Thursday, June 15.

Dead City is a highly anticipated series within The Walking Dead universe, as viewers are eager to see something drastically different from the flagship series. The cityscape of apocalyptic Manhattan will be that change. Dead City will begin approximately two years after the events of The Walking Dead’s final episode and see Maggie’s son Hershel (now played by Logan Kim) abducted by a former underling of Negan’s named The Croat (Zeljko Ivanek).

Cohan shared in an interview with NY Post that fans can expect this series to extend past the first season, and she hopes it can expand into a fourth or even fifth.
