How many episodes in The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1?
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead fandom is anticipating the next spinoff in the universe. The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC on June 18, and fans are excited to see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) back in action. How many episodes does the first season of Dead City have?
Dead City is set a couple of years after The Walking Dead’s final episode and sees Maggie in need of Negan’s help. Her son Hershel (now played by Logan Kim) has been abducted, and she’s tracked his abductor to Manhattan.
Fans have long been curious why Maggie would see Negan’s help as they have long been enemies due to Negan’s brutal killing of her husband, Glenn (Steven Yeun). The reveal is the abductor, known as The Croat (Željko Ivanek), is a former underling of Negans. Maggie believes Negan’s history with this man can help her secure her son’s release.
Negan has other troubles as he is a wanted man. Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles) is a marshal of New Babylon who is actively searching for Negan for crimes he has been accused of.
