At the beginning of this episode, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) goes into a bar and talks with a bartender (Charlie Solis). Listening in is Hurd’s character, who doesn’t like the questions Maggie is asking.

She has Maggie followed and believes she is a spy for someone named Vasquez. When she attempts to cut off Maggie’s nose, Maggie attacks and makes quick work of the bar owner and her two henchmen. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) walks in, and Maggie chases after him but is tripped up by Ginny (Mahina Napoleon).

Later in the episode, the bar owner is visited by New Babylon Marshals Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), Fritz (David Chen), and Jano (Trey Santiago-Hudson). Armstrong asks about the whereabouts of Negan, a wanted man in New Babylon. When he gets the information he wants from her, he feeds her to the “groaners” for a capital office:  Code 14, Section 8, aiding and abetting.
