What characters are in The Walking Dead: Dead City?

AMC’s newest spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, continues the stories of two characters from the flagship series and introduces many other new characters. Set in apocalyptic Manhattan, at least five to six years after the events of The Walking Dead series final, this series takes on a whole new landscape from the wooded setting of the original series. So, who are the characters in this series?
Walking Dead fans know this main characters of this series are Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Maggie’s son Hershel is also present in this storyline, who is now played by an older actor Logan Kim, to account for the time jump.
According to showrunner Eli Jorné there are three main groups of people in this series is tracking.
New Babylon, a federation of city-states and towns, whose capital city is New Babylon. This society is based on law & order, where if you break the law, you will be hung for your crimes and placed on display in your reanimated form.
The Burazi, from the Croatian word Buraz meaning brother, is The Croats group. This group is aggressive and vicious and wears helmets with spikes that they use to headbutt walkers. The Croat, a former scientist, has been able to create their own fuel, giving them an advantage over the other groups.
The Tribespeople, natives of NYC, are the prey of the Burazi who Maggie & Negan encounter. They created the zipline system to travel above the city and the walkers who overrun the streets.

The Walking Dead: Dead City will air new episodes weekly on AMC on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ subscribers can watch new episodes three days early on Thursdays.
